Enabling startups with grants, debt, and equity funding

We make early investments in technology-driven and deep-tech startups addressing significant global markets. Through its Incubation and Scale-Up Program, IIF actively assists startups in raising capital across different stages of their growth journey.

Our funding support is designed to complement mentorship and infrastructure access, helping founders accelerate product development, validation, and market entry.

Application Process at IIF

Submit Application

Submit your query or application through the incubator website.

Screening

Initial screening by the Internal Evaluation Committee.

Startup Presentation

Shortlisted startups present before the Screening Committee

Due Diligence

Detailed due diligence including technology, team, and market assessment.

Recommendation

Final recommendation by the governing board.

Admission

Admission into the Incubation Program (typically for up to 2 years).

Grants

Early-stage startups may receive grant support of up to ₹40 Lakhs, subject to fund availability, startup stage, and an approved utilization plan.

Grant funding is primarily aimed at supporting prototyping, proof-of-concept development, validation, and early product-market fit activities.

Debt / Equity

IIF supports deep-tech startups through debt and/or equity investments of up to ₹40 Lakhs, typically acting as a first-check investor.

Investment decisions are based on factors such as technology readiness, business traction, team capability, and funding requirements. These investments are designed to catalyze further fundraising and scale-up.
